In Person Workshops and Webinars
Based upon its expansive knowledge base, C5 customizes accessible sessions which include such current topics such as Recruiter and Hiring Manager training, Disability 101, Talent Acquisition and Mental Illness at Work.
Forward-thinking organizations are taking pro-active measures to identify train and empower the next generation of diverse business leaders, to open up their pipeline and cultivate more diverse talent. JBC, a certified woman- and LGBT-owned strategic leadership and diversity consulting firm, has partnered with C5 Consulting to design and deliver an accessible customized program Leadership Development for Employees with Disabilities.
C5 provides coaching for individuals and teams across several areas to strengthen leadership effectiveness. These customized sessions can be developed and delivered for all levels of employees, ranging from entry level to executive level.
Three key areas of focus are inclusive leadership, communicating with impact, and developing powerful presentations. The C5 team has experience developing a variety of customized programs for clients in the non-profit and for-profit sectors.
Projects include, but are not limited to:
- A customized six-week program for the Washington DC SBDC (Small Business Development Center) designed to equip new entrepreneurs with the key skills necessary to boost confidence, develop strong relationships, communicate with impact, and develop winning presentations
- Inclusive Leadership workshops in the education and corporate space focusing on topics including implicit bias, micro-inequities, and courageous conversations
Access to Leaders with Disabilities
As more and more employers seek to recruit and retain talent with disabilities at all levels within their organization, there is a need to identify those with disabilities in leadership positions. C5 has access to many of these individuals as a result of our continually growing network and our leadership focused initiatives.

Youth with Disabilities
For many years, C5 has been engaged with supporting the transition from school to work through collaboration with the Disability:IN NextGen Leaders, COSD (Career Opportunities for Students with Disabilities), The National Youth Transition Collaborative, HSC Foundation, BroadFutures, DOL ODEP Workforce Recruitment Program and Policy Works.
C5 has the expertise to support any organization’s efforts towards recruiting youth with disabilities for internships, mentoring and career opportunities.
