Kia Silver-Hodge
Kia Silver Hodge has been a Sr. Director with C5 Consulting since 2018. In this role, Kia develops and delivers learning experiences to equip organizations with the tools to create more disability – inclusive environments, lead across differences, and strengthen key leadership competencies.
After serving as Interim Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Head of EEO & Diversity of Enterprise Operations at Lockheed Martin, Kia joined C5 Consulting and launched Master Mine Consulting, LLC, a coaching practice established to provide individuals and organizations with resources and strategies to unlock their full potential.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 2015, Kia was the Corporate Manager of Diversity & Military Recruitment Programs at Northrop Grumman and also managed Operation IMPACT, Northrop Grumman’s career transition assistance for Wounded Warriors.
Throughout her 15-year career in Human Resources, Kia has also held senior leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies including Freddie Mac, Monster Worldwide, Sallie Mae and Adecco.
Kia graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University in Washington, DC and has also obtained certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She is a certified facilitator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and has obtained credentials as a Certified Personal & Executive Coach (CPEC) through the CaPP (Coaching & Positive Psychology) Institute.
Kia serves on the Boards of two disability advocacy and service organizations. In 2017, she was elected as President and Board Chair of The Arc Prince George’s County and also serves on the Advisory Board of the DC Metro Business Leadership Network.
Kia is a proud military spouse and a lifelong resident of Maryland, where she resides with her husband and two daughters.
