Sue Werber

Sue Werber, Senior Director joined C5 Consulting in 2014. In this role, Sue has led several client projects, including creation and delivery for C5’s Talent Acquisition Solutions product, and was a shared lead for C5’s Disability IQ Series. Since joining C5, Sue has delivered training with Katherine and Martha to many groups, including Disability:IN National Capital region National Webinar Series and the Metro Washington and Baltimore ILGs. Sue joined the DC Metro BLN in 2012 where she served on the Board until her retirement from Marriott International in 2013. Sue now serves on the Disability: IN National Capital region Advisory Board and leads its Millennial Committee. In that role, Sue is responsible for the Career Exploration High School Fairs and the National Virtual Career Fairs. Previously in her career, Sue served as the Sr. Director, EEO/AA and HR Compliance with Marriott International, Inc. She began her career with Marriott in 1979 and over the years held various local and regional management positions in both Food and Beverage and Human Resources. She was in Marriott’s Corporate Human Resources Department over 20 years and held numerous leadership positions in the Employee and Labor Relations Department Immigration Services and the EEO/AA and HR Compliance Department. In her most recent role, Sue and her group were responsible for providing subject matter expertise and policy review and implementation in the area of affirmative action and EEO compliance.  They also monitored and acted as the COE for work authorization processes and policy including I-9, E-Verify, and social security number verification. They also initiated, developed and implemented HR related management training and services.
